The second round of the Rochdale clubs evening trials took place last Wednesday at back cowm quarry in Whitworth once again it was well attended with 55 riders in total. Josh Law was the top expert once again losing only 4 marks in total with Paul Sullivan second on 16 in total on the expert course. Cheshire rider Lee Sealy once again made is journey from Nantwich worth while riding the expert youth course for a loss of just 18 marks this gave him joint 3rd position overall sharing the honours with Grant Morris who rode the adult experts. With only 3 riders competing in the intermediates Ross Law took the win from Ashley Ashworth, Ross dropped 28 to Ashley’s 38, in the youth B class Ben Wright was top man beating Mathew Waggett and in youth C Alex Yiatrou battled around for a loss of 75 in total and a class win. The biggest class of the trial by far was the ever competitive over 40 class with ever more new arrival’s coming of age and joining in the furore, Kingsley Harrison just managed to get the better of Andy Fitzsimmons by 1 mark with respective scores of 8 and 9 a five on section 4 cost Andy the win on the night. In the adult beginner class Charlotte Kimber rode around for the loss of only 3 marks second position went to Simon Mills who lost 18 in total then there was quite a drop to third place man P Fentem who lost 32 in total.

Once again a conducted trial ran along side the main event based mostly for the younger riders on smaller wheeled machines, the top rider in this class was Whitworth youngster Max Johnson taking his first ever trial win at the age of Seven, he rode the course for a loss 20 just beating Ethan Cottrell who dropped 21 third place went to Eamon Whittle who lost 26.
